Just gorgeous.
Vintage shadow work placemat set, from Maison Léron. Dense hand embroidery on organdy, with linen napkins. Superb quality, with caseado bastido edging on all the pieces. The set is out of an amazing European estate, full of exquisite table linens, many of them monogrammed.
Condition is excellent, never used. Hand laundered, bright and clean. The napkins have an almost imperceptible green hue, likely color run from the deeply saturated monogram. Barely noticeable, and easily forgiven – this set looks fantastic, and is like nothing you'll find today.
