A vibrant 17-piece set from the Baroness Rapisardi, hand embroidered in Italy in the signature punto stuoia stitch of her designs—a textured filling stitch that gives the embroidery depth and dimension. Each placemat and napkin features a unique pairing of butterflies and stylized florals—full of movement, color and contrast. Worked on semi-sheer linen, the embroidery is finely stitched and visually expressive. The lavish runner finishes the story.
We’ve never seen this pattern before—it is very rare, and a striking example of Rapisardi’s mid-century artistry.
Condition is excellent, gently used. Hand laundered, clean and bright, with a slight antique patina and subtle shade variations in the linen.
