Altogether fabulous – beach house perfect.
Tropical fish, inspired by Matisse's "Jazz" cutouts. Appliqué on linen, machine embroidered, made in France by D Porthault, circa 1980. These are patterns we've never seen before! Lots of texture in the embroidery, and lovely hues – striking and wonderful.
Condition is excellent, never used. Hand laundered, bright and clean. We note some slight differences in the border color, some variations in the appliqué colors, and a few specks here and there. They look marvelous.
Setting for 12 (4 different fish patterns, 3 settings of each).
