Antique French linen and lace dinner napkins, massive and fine. The linen is a lighter weight, supple and beautiful to the touch. Drawnwork runs along all sides, with a hand embroidered monogram in one corner. The real showpiece is the iris worked in a medley of handmade laces — graceful and lovely, unlike anything made today.
Condition is excellent, gently used. Hand laundered, clean and bright. A few small pinholes and specks throughout the group. All minor, the set looks wonderful.
