Medieval August Falconry Vintage Rapisardi Italian Linen 3pc Breakfast Set

A beautiful vintage Rapisardi linen breakfast set, hand embroidered in Italy — richly detailed, expressive and alive with medieval storytelling.

Inspired by the illuminated pages of the 15th-century Très Riches Heures, this August scene captures falconry, noble riders, and landscape elements in the workshop’s distinctive embroidery. The corner figures echo the zodiac signs from the original manuscript.

We suspect the “26” beside Agosto is a marriage date — this set was almost certainly a wedding gift. Charming and thoughtful, indeed.

Excellent condition, gently used. Hand laundered, bright and clean, a few faint smudges near the figures, some uneven linen color, and a light antique patina. This looks wonderful.
