An exquisite vintage Italian linen set, combining dense drawnwork, elegant monograms, and a gorgeous ombré yellow. The workmanship is superb: elaborate borders, lettering of rare finesse, and the richness of color all speak to its artistry. The extra-long cocktail napkins — seldom encountered — make the set even more exceptional.
Condition is excellent, never used, with a soft antique patina. Gently hand laundered, clean and bright. The off-white linen shows natural slubs and darker weave lines typical of the fabric, with just a hint of color run near the edge of the tablecloth. All minor—the set looks marvelous.
