Magnificent antique table runner in handmade Point de Venise lace – extremely fine, extraordinarily beautiful.
The lace celebrates the four seasons: flowers in the spring, fruits in summer, wheat harvest in fall, and warming by the fire in winter. Amazing detail. Plus a superb monogram G.
Excellent condition, gently used. Hand laundered, clean and bright. We note a few openings in the lace, and a few faint discolorations. Minor, and easily forgiven. You will rarely see lace so fine and lovely!
