Vintage organdy placemat set, hand embroidered in Madeira, originally offered by Leron. Lush greenery, delicate blooms and pretty butterflies in shadow work, with fancy scalloped edging in caseado bastido. Beautiful quality.
A rare and complete setting for 12—an exceptional find.
Very good condition, gently used, some pieces never used. Hand laundered, bright and clean. We note some distinct shade variations among the napkins, and some frays at the edges. Easily forgiven, the set looks lovely.
