Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.
Everything is exquisite here – the insects, the flowers – it's like a garden come alive! Vibrant colors, graceful design, all rendered in fine French beauvais embroidery. This vintage linen placemat set was made by D Porthault (with labels). Rare and wondrous.
Condition is excellent, gently used. Hand laundered, bright and clean, some natural slubs and irregularities in the linen weave, and some faint smudges on a couple of napkins. Minor, these look fantastic.
