Ottoman Fish & Shells Vintage French 17pc Placemat Set for 8

Rare, unusual, and most exquisite.

Gorgeously embroidered fish, worked in a distinctively Ottoman style, though we do believe it to be a vintage French set, circa 1930. All hand embroidered on pale green cotton organdy. Like nothing we've seen before.

Very good condition, not quite perfect. Likely never used. Hand laundered, bright and clean. We note some pinholes on a runner and on one placemat. There are some shade differences in the green color among the pieces, with the table runner much lighter than the rest of the set. Minor, this set looks wonderful.
