Off to the hunt!

Riders in red coats clear the fence at a gallop, hounds race alongside, and the countryside rolls out in soft greens around them. Vintage tablecloth and napkins, hand embroidered in Madeira, featuring a lively variety of hunting scenes (including a mishap or two). Dense, three-dimensional work, with fine caseado bastido edging. The napkins are generously sized. This set is magnificent.

Condition is excellent, never used. Laundered, clean and bright. The original Madeira labels were removed for cleaning, and we note faint discoloration at the back corner of each napkin from the label residue. Minor. These look marvelous.

Tablecloth is rectangular, 68 x 112 inches;
12 napkins, 19 x 19.5 inches.
