Vintage linen cocktail napkins, each embroidered with a different international flag and toast — “Salud!”, “Prost!”, “Here’s How!” and more. Hand embroidered in Madeira, a lively set celebrating global goodwill.
There are shade variations in the set — each matched pair was embroidered on linen with a slightly different tone. We don’t believe the set was ever used.
Condition is excellent overall, with a touch of patina to the linen. The embroidery colors are rich and striking, and we avoided being too aggressive in cleaning to preserve their depth.
