Rare vintage napkins, featuring each month of the year in medieval theme. This is Italian hand embroidery from the Baroness Rapisardi. We love Rapisardi linens, with their rich colors and unusual motifs – always charming and beautiful.
This particular design is inspired by illustrations of the "Labors of the Months", found in the famous fifteenth century Book of Hours, the Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry.
Excellent condition, never used. Hand laundered, clean and bright.
