Lavish and lovely!
Vintage linen placemat set featuring elaborate Richelieu cutwork, hand embroidered in Madeira. Oval placemats are framed by wide borders of flowers and scrolls, and each napkin carries a matching corner. Gorgeous.
Condition is very good, gently used. Hand laundered, clean and bright, a slight antique patina to the linen and some faint shade variations. One napkin has a small hole. All minor, and easily forgiven on this magnificent set. Everything looks marvelous.
