Vintage peek-a-boo linen cocktail napkins, hand embroidered in Madeira. Lift the faces to discover that the “eyes” are really the padded assets of the ladies underneath. Really, now.

Very good condition, gently used. Hand laundered, bright and clean. Some fading to the black appliqué and trapunto (padded) work, along with a bit of color run. These vintage novelty napkins weren’t always made from the finest, most colorfast fabrics, but they more than make up for it in pure vintage charm.
