Shell-shaped organdy placemats from Maison Léron, entirely hand embroidered with shadow work of extraordinary density and precision. The fine scalloped edging in caseado bastido, the most demanding embroidery technique in the Madeira tradition, defines every curve. Linen napkins complete the set, each monogrammed HH in rich teal. A showpiece for your summer table.
Condition is excellent, never used. Hand laundered, clean and bright. The napkins carry an almost imperceptible green cast, likely color run from the deeply saturated monogram. Barely noticeable, and easily forgiven. This set looks marvelous.
