Spaniel & Pups Vintage French Hand Embroidered Linen Placemat Set for 4
$495.00
A springer spaniel watches for bounding stragglers, while the rest of the puppies are nose-deep in dinner. Another spaniel stands guard on every napkin. Dense hand embroidery on linen, with French knots throughout. Unmarked, but the playfulness and quality are almost certainly French. Absolutely adorable.
Condition is excellent, gently used. Hand laundered, clean and bright, with mellow colors. One napkin has a few tiny pinholes where a price tag was fastened. Minor, these look lovely.
Set of 8 pieces, setting for 4;
4 placemats, 12 x 18 inches;
4 napkins, 18 x 18 inches.
