Charming vintage Madeira placemat and napkin set, worked in broderie anglaise (eyelet embroidery) on crisp Irish linen. For teatime or dessert, every piece is scaled in miniature — placemats, napkins, and coasters that could double as cocktail napkins. A coordinating runner completes the set.
Condition is gently used, hand laundered, clean and bright. Slight shade variations; one placemat with minor frays at the edge, another with a pinhole. All minor, this set looks wonderful.
