A spectacular vintage Madeira tablecloth featuring The Ballet design — a rare and intricate pattern of dancers in motion, hand embroidered in dense Richelieu work with remarkable precision. Beautiful workmanship.
We’ve never seen this pattern before and fell in love the moment we laid eyes on it!
Condition is excellent, gently used, if at all. Hand laundered, clean and bright. Some shade variation on the napkins and a few with very minor areas of missing applied lace — scarcely noticeable and not distracting in presentation. The set looks marvelous.
Tablecloth is rectangular, 72 x 100 inches;
12 napkins, 20 ½ x 21 inches.
