Tropical fish, inspired by Matisse's "Jazz" cutouts. This is a pattern we've never seen before! Appliqué on linen, machine embroidered, made in France by D Porthault, circa 1980. Striking, gorgeous, very unique.
Condition is excellent, never used. Hand laundered, bright and clean, just a few small specks, and some variations in the appliqué colors.
