Marghab’s "Waterleaf" pattern, hand embroidered in Madeira on fine linen in a deep plum tone — difficult to photograph exactly. The design features graceful leaves outlined in gray appliqué, delicately worked in satin stitch and tiny seed embroidery, with subtle cutwork accents. Elegant and sculptural, it’s particularly rich and striking in this color. This is a gorgeous set.
Excellent condition, likely never used. Hand laundered, bright and clean, with a few faint whitish streaks in the linen (example last photo). Minor, the set looks marvelous.
