Tropical fish, inspired by Matisse's "Jazz" cutouts. Appliqué on linen, machine embroidered, made in France by D. Porthault circa 1980. A pattern we've never seen before—unique, striking, and gorgeous.
condition is excellent; it was never used. Hand laundered, bright and clean; just a couple of specks; some slight variations to the appliqué colors.
Setting for 6:
6 placemats, 13 x 17.5 inches;
6 napkins, 19.5 x 20 inches.
