Rare and fabulous. Perfect for the beach house.
Vividly colored tropical fish, inspired by Matisse's "Jazz" cutouts. Appliqué on linen, machine embroidered, made in France by D Porthault circa 1980. A pattern we've never seen before – unique, striking and gorgeous.
Condition is excellent, never used. Hand laundered, bright and clean, a slight patina to some of the napkins, some variations to the appliqué colors.
Setting for 6:6 placemats, 13 x 17.5 inches;
6 napkins, 19.5 x 20 inches.
